"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jer 29:11

All dressed up and nowhere to go...

We actually got everyone up and ready for church -a miracle in itself! Ray went out to warm up the car and discovered that my car wouldn't start. No problem, we'll just take Ray's car. Big surprise - his car wouldn't start either! What are the odds That BOTH of our cars would be dead at the same time? After a visit from our new best friend, Max, we were good to go.

Ray headed out to purchase a new battery, and I took Betsy and Emmie out for a ride, just to make sure that it would start again. Betsy did well for her first ride in her newly installed carseat.

Betsy really seems to be doing well. She plays on the floor right next to me and seems happy. The big girls just dote on her. MeiMei is loving being a big sister!

She is just so stinking' cute! You just want to eat her up!

  1. I'm so glad she is adjusting well. I'm sure the attention she receives from her big sisters helps.

  2. I love the arms over the head sleeping posture: such abandon!
Welcome home to you and your family. You sound tired but very happy. Take care. Maybe we will see you next Sunday. Kim D.

  5. Just one thing since you posted this- what punk band from the 80's sings a song about 'All Dressed up and no where to go'. This has been on my mind since this post...
